Two weeks ago, leading mortgage distributor TFC Homeloans launched electronic applications to their brokers using their new IT system Gravity. Responding to the Royal Mail strikes, TFC brought forward its development of online applications to ensure brokers continued to receive excellent service levels despite post being subject to delays.

Today, TFC is pleased to announce that the development of online applications directly from Gravity has now been completed and brokers can now send their applications to TFC's processing team at the click of a button.

Ian Scarrott, Head of Internal Sales commented "We understood brokers were becoming frustrated with applications getting delayed in the post so we decided to take action. Initially we asked our brokers to email us once their applications were ready to process on Gravity along with their application fee details but this latest development means that brokers can now submit their applications directly from Gravity. We will then contact the broker for payment details and start underwriting the case straight away. While we’re already preparing the case for offer, all that's left for the broker to do is print out the declarations for the client to sign and send those over to us."

Gravity is already one of the most accurate and intelligent sourcing systems available to the market place and is enabling TFC to offer a DIP turnaround time of less than four hours. The addition of this latest feature, available exclusively to TFC Homeloans, will enable the distributor to provide an even more efficient service to its brokers. Last week 84% of all applications were submitted electronically highlighting just how popular this feature is and now TFC has made it even easier to submit electronically the company expects more and more brokers to follow suit.
