TFC Homeloans, part of the Orbiter Group, has reported an increase of business of around 30% in the last month and its application volumes are now up nearly 90% since December 2007.

TFC has also been boosted by an independent survey showing it is finding favour with brokers. Recent figures from NMG Financial Services Consulting's Mortgage Intermediary Census shows that of those surveyed, 100% of mortgage brokers who use TFC place the company in their top 2 packagers, suggesting they are more than satisfied with the service they receive.

Ian Scarrott, Sales Manager at TFC Homeloans comments: "We're glad to see our efforts are not going unnoticed by brokers. Like our competitors our margins have been squeezed by a combination of product withdrawals and packaging fee reductions, but TFC has a strong infrastructure."

Scarrott also highlighted some emerging trends: "We are finding we're attracting new customers as well as retaining our old ones. Just last week for example we dealt with over sixty new registrations on our online system and our telephone sales team had their busiest week of the year."

TFC's was recently chosen as one of just six packagers to remain on the much coveted Sesame network panel. In addition, TFC is currently offering a £99 application fee and free legals on remortgages with the majority of their lender panel.
