One of the largest members of RAMP, TFC Homeloans has been instrumental in building the software package, working with the IT company Oppono to ensure that the needs of brokers were fully considered during the development process. TFC Homeloans was the first company to roll out the system to its brokers and over the last four months has provided support and training to users as well as continuing to obtain user feedback which has been used to further refine the system. Gravity combined with TFC’s online case tracking tool and management information system offers a powerful service proposition. In addition to being broker ‘friendly’ TFC Homeloans is confident that it is the most accurate system available for sourcing sub-prime mortgage products. TFC’s brokers are already receiving a much faster and efficient service than is available from most other packagers; currently TFC’s DIP turnaround is less than 4 hours. Brian Pitt, non executive director at TFC Homeloans comments, "There is now a flight to quality by lenders which will result in lower margins and commissions, however, this new technology enables TFC to be more competitive within a currently difficult marketplace.
